(The absolute best) Gyoza Dipping Sauce
There’s no shame in frozen dumplings for dinner. They’re amazing, really. But when you get them, promise me you’ll throw away the little packet of “sauce” they give you and make this dipping sauce instead. It’s worth it. And let’s face it, you’ve got the extra time.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 garlic cloves, minced (more if you are obsessed with garlic, like me)
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
1 tsp sesame oil
DIRECTIONS
Whisk together the rice vinegar, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, garlic, ginger, green onions, and sesame oil in a bowl; allow to sit 15 minutes before serving. Store in refrigerator up to one week.
