Teriyaki Meatball Bowl
Need dinner in a pinch? I got you. This is so easy to make you’re going to love me for it!
INGREDIENTS
Olive oil for the grill
20 small meatballs, fresh or frozen
3/4 cup store-bought teriyaki sauce (I used P.F. Changs)
2 cups rice
1 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 Tbsp sugar
2-3 green onions, sliced
1 cup pineapple slices
Sesame seeds
DIRECTIONS
Heat your grill or grill pan on high and wipe with a little oil. Once piping hot, grill your pineapple for about 3 minutes on each side until you get some pretty grill marks.
Meanwhile, cook your rice and meat balls how you’d normally cook them; either in the air fryer, stovetop, or oven.
While your rice is hot, place in a bowl and add the rice vinegar and sugar and mix thoroughly to make sticky rice.
In a saucepan, add store-bought teriyaki sauce and heat on medium. Add your cooked meatballs, stirring to coat every inch. Continue to stir for 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meatballs.
Top your rice with teriyaki meatballs, grilled pineapple pieces, green onion, and sesame seeds.
