Meat Lovers' Pizza
If you love a meaty pizza, you're going to love this one. It's one of my brother's favorites when he stops by for lunch in between snow plow jobs. Well, It's April 10th and I'm looking outside at about 4-5 inches of snow. Guess I better get the oven ready.
INGREDIENTS
1 ball frozen Tiseo's dough, thawed
1 jar pizza sauce
1 16 oz. bag shredded mozzarella
1 ball fresh mozzarella, thinly sliced
1/4 lb. bacon pieces (cooked)
1/2 lb. pepperoni
1 pkg. Bob Evan's Zesty Pork Sausage, cooked
Olive oil
Garlic powder
Parmesan cheese (for crust)
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Knead dough out in a circle, using your fingers to create a bit of a crust; thinner in the middle and a little more dough around the edge.
- Spread the jar of pizza sauce evenly over the dough, excluding the crust.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the sauce evenly, then cover with the pepperoni.
- Place the bacon and sausage on top, then top with the fresh mozzarella.
- Brush olive oil on the outer crust, then sprinkle with parmesan cheese and garlic powder.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the fresh mozzarella just starts to bubble.
