Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Mother's Day is right around the corner and these delicious treats are so easy to make a kid could do it. In fact, what a fun little project for you and your little one (Dad's, I'm talking to you...)!
INGREDIENTS
1 pint strawberries, washed and dried, then refrigerated for 1/2 hour
1 pkg. Baker's Milk Chocolate
1/2 pkg. Baker's White Chocolate
DIRECTIONS
- Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Follow the directions on the Baker's Milk Chocolate package (heating every 30 seconds, then stirring, and repeat). Dip your cold strawberries in the chocolate, holding the green tip, let drip so the excess chocolate falls off, then place gently on the wax paper. Repeat one at a time.
- Heat your white chocolate the same way you did the milk chocolate. Take a fork, dip it in the chocolate, and, one at a time, drizzle back and forth over each strawberry until you've got the amount you like.
- Refrigerate for another 1/2 hour when finished.
