Fig, Pear & Goat Cheese Pizza
A long time ago, my friend Carol Ann made a delicious whole-wheat pizza that was super similar to this. It was so good, I have since re-created it with some minor adjustments. Most noticeably, it’s not whole-wheat crust. It’s my favorite Michigan made dough from Tiseo’s.
INGREDIENTS
1 ball frozen Tiseo’s dough
½ pear, sliced
¼ red onion, sliced
2 Tbsp goat cheese
½ cup arugula
5 dried mission figs, split in half
Garlic olive oil spray
Sesame seeds
DIRECTIONS
- Thaw dough for 6 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with non-stick Reynolds foil.
- Knead dough and toss to make a round.
- Spray garlic olive oil over the entire round dough.
- Add arugula, red onion, pear, and goat cheese, and figs.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds around the outer crust
- Bake for 30 minutes.
