Fig, Pear & Goat Cheese Pizza

A long time ago, my friend Carol Ann made a delicious whole-wheat pizza that was super similar to this.  It was so good, I have since re-created it with some minor adjustments.  Most noticeably, it’s not whole-wheat crust.  It’s my favorite Michigan made dough from Tiseo’s.

INGREDIENTS

1 ball frozen Tiseo’s dough
½ pear, sliced
¼ red onion, sliced
2 Tbsp goat cheese
½ cup arugula
5 dried mission figs, split in half
Garlic olive oil spray
Sesame seeds

 

DIRECTIONS

  • Thaw dough for 6 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with non-stick Reynolds foil.
  • Knead dough and toss to make a round.
  • Spray garlic olive oil over the entire round dough.
  • Add arugula, red onion, pear, and goat cheese, and figs.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds around the outer crust
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
