Perfect Chili

This recipe is super simple, but super effective.  The base is what I’ve been using for years.  Sometimes I switch up the meat and put in some sausages or chorizo to mix it up.  But ever since I got Milford Spice Company’s Perfect Chili , I’m not going back to the mixture of spices I’d have to dig out of the spice drawer.  It’s the perfect combo to make the absolute perfect chili.

INGREDIENTS


1 lb ground beef
1 pkg Bob Evans Zesty Sausage
1 can dark red kidney beans
1 can light red kidney beans
1 jar Thick & Chunky salsa (I use mild or medium)
1 can no salt added tomato sauce
2 Tbsp Milford Spice Company’s Perfect Chili
1 onion, diced

DIRECTIONS

  • Brown meat; drain.  Add to slow cooker with remaining ingredients and cover with lid.

  • Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.

  • Stir when finished and before serving.  Serve with fresh white onion, green onion, cheddar cheese, or sour cream.
