Hot Coffee (Instant Pot)
Here’s what I thought: “What did you say?! Coffee in the Instant Pot? Yes please"!” If there’s one thing Nick loves, it’s iced coffee. “If I can make a whole batch in a matter of minutes, then I have accomplished not only saving us a butt-load of money on expensive cold brew, but I have also taught him a new skill (because he can clearly make this on his own).”
Well, they’re not all winners, folks. The good news is, if you need hot coffee quickly, this will definitely do the trick. But if you want a really good cup of cold brew coffee, stick with the Toddy method. This just tastes like hot coffee over ice.
INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 cup ground coffee
18 cups water
DIRECTIONS
Add ground coffee and water to the Instant Pot insert and stir to mix.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot, lock it, and set the valve to the sealing position (not venting).
Select pressure cook (or manual) high pressure, and set the timer for five minutes.
When cook time is finished, allow for a complete natural pressure release.
Remove the insert from the Instant Pot and carefully strain the Instant Pot iced coffee concentrate.
